The Responsibility of Taking Care of our Mother Nature

Updated: Feb 23, 2023

It was once very beautiful until it was slowly destroyed by its inhabitants. We, as inhabitants of this world have the responsibility to take care of it. The problem with us is that sometimes we do not care as long as our comfort is not bothered. We lost foresight on possible things that may bring because of our carelessness. The time comes for a tragedy and we blame other people when the truth is that we are part of those who don't care at first.

Taking care of mother nature is our collective responsibility as human beings. Our planet is our home, and it provides us with the resources and the environment that we need to survive and thrive. However, the actions of human beings have caused significant damage to our environment, including air and water pollution, deforestation, and climate change. It is our responsibility to take care of mother nature and ensure that it is preserved for future generations.

Responsibility is part of humanity. Our surroundings, the people around us, the animals, trees, and all living creatures in this world. Those animals cannot live peacefully because we are destroying their habitats. A simple thing to do, to be a responsible person, yet why it looks so hard to do? maybe because we lack dedication or we just really don't care. Let us not wait for further damages due to our inappropriate actions.

The past tragedies should already be a lesson. Let us not wait for another life to be lost, another house to be destroyed, another home to lose and another family to suffer. Act not just for yourself, think of the future of our children who will inherit everything that we will leave as we go. We also have a responsibility to be mindful of the waste that we produce and ensure that it is disposed of properly. This means reducing the use of single-use plastics, properly disposing of hazardous materials, and recycling whenever possible.

In summary, taking care of our mother nature is a collective responsibility that requires us to reduce our carbon footprint, promote conservation efforts, and be mindful of the waste that we produce. By taking action to protect our environment, we can ensure that our planet remains healthy and sustainable for future generations.
