As the Silumtaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation commences for January, PLTCol Lim, the COP of Dapitan City Police Station started the week with a briefing to his personnel about the busy week ahead as they will be having loads of work for the compliance of UPER.
The SACLEO strategy involves the simultaneous deployment of police personnel and resources to different areas with high incidences of criminal activity. The primary objective of SACLEO is to maximize police visibility and presence in high-risk areas to deter criminals from carrying out their illegal activities.
The strategy utilizes a multi-agency approach, with various government agencies and local government units working together to identify and address criminal activities in the area. Before the commencement of SACLEO, intelligence gathering is conducted to collect and analyze information about criminal activities and identify criminal syndicates and their modus operandi. This information is used to formulate operational plans, including the deployment of personnel, resources, and equipment to the targeted areas.
To keep track in line, PLTCol Lim, conducted a briefing the very first thing on Monday after attending the flag-raising ceremony to remind his personnel about all their compliances.
